Deep Tissue Massage at Bio Energetic Dynamics, Inc
The pressure level during Deep Tissue Massage is ultimately tailored to your tolerance/comfort. My Deep Tissue Massage is more of a generalized version of my Structural Integration work (not as specific and without other modalities). This ultimately means that the focus is simply on the muscle bellies and often fascia. Usually minimal lubrication is used to achieve a comfortable myofascial pull on the skin, which often helps to release deep myofascial adhesions. Much of this philosophy can be traced back to the work of Ida Rolf (founder of Rolfing) and Dr. Janet Travell, who wrote some of the first detailed scientific papers on trigger point therapy, myofascial release and deep tissue massage. Little consideration is given to the cranium and the potential relationships that the cranial breathing mechanism may have to your problem(s). Things are broken down much more.
Ultimately, this means that I strive to achieve optimal forms of myofascial relaxation. This can be a great session if you want to focus more on specific areas like the back and/or neck. It can also be useful for people who (for whatever reason) are not comfortable with the theory of craniopathy and simply want deeper work. If you would like me to focus on a specific area, please let me know at the beginning of the session or as the session progresses. The current price is an introductory price, and Deep Tissue Massage.
