to find a blanket fort
@craugust
“hey, uh, professor?” dane’s voice is softer than usual, and he makes a point to rub at his arms in hopes of maintaining some level of heat. it really wouldn’t have been this big of a deal, but this is solidifying his theory pretty quickly. “y’know how the seasons are flipping south of the equator?” he cocks his head to the side and lets a frown grow on his face. and his voice? his voice picks up. “why didn’t any of the professors warn the students that it was going to be winter on this island? like? i don’t know? maybe tell the students 'hey everyone, new zealand is going to be cold so remember to pack your winter outfits!’.”
he knows ranting to a teacher is going to change nothing, but it’s always nice to blow off steam at someone. and really, he does feel slightly better. key word: slightly. he points to the professor almost accusingly, menacingly if he will. “help me locate extra blankets for my room and roommates. it’s the least you can do.”
