A drawing of Chimata Tenkyuu I made the other night. I'm not particularly happy with how it turned out. Her face looks more like a kigurumi mask than a face in an anime artstyle.

I figured out how to stop getting the shadow on the edge of the page when I scan artwork from my sketchbook: Weighing the book down with a 3 pound ingot of zinc.

My phone could not capture the beauty of the full moon, so I decided to see if crayons could.

I drew the Aztec god Xolotl with crayons. I based this picture mostly off this picture from wikimedia commons for his clothing, and his pose from a different picture. I thought pure pink skin might look weird so I tried layering it on the peach crayon though you can't really tell. I also forgot his earrings.

Some more scanned crayon artwork. For these, I experimented with just using one color: indigo. Both of these are meant to depict night. Since I made them in a sketchbook rather than loose paper the scan quality is worse and you can see shaded parts towards the edges.
