having a woman doctor (also my gender care doc) is so great. didn't even need to fight for myself to get checked for pcos. i told her "i'm thinking i should get checked for pcos" and she was like "yeah, sure, we can do that :) what makes you think that?" and i explained, and she immediately sends a referral to ultrasound for me to get checked 😭 i wish everyone could have it that easy. so fucking stupid how people have to fight for YEARS to be heard. it's THAT easy. there's no reason for doctors to be so negligent abt it.
