yah man don't get me wrong I love being a multi-fandom blog and I'm not going to feel too terribly bad about posting whatever the hell I want because well the disclaimer is right at the top

and yah okay I actually think my blog is pretty fucking awesome I mean come on if I didn’t think the things I posted were awesome I wouldn’t post them duh

but I also realize that only those who share my unusual combination of fandoms would even potentially agree with me which accounts for maybe a handful of you out of 400+ and since I seem to add new fandoms every few months more than likely whatever you followed me for doesn't get posted as often

so I'm just... I'm just really grateful and amazed that despite our probably-conflicting interests you guys are still hanging in there

I want more Claire, so much more Claire. I understand they do not point out Julie is THE GIRL and yes I agree they do a great job of portraying her, I guess I mean along the lines of character grouping wise. She is literally the only girl in the group, minus Claire who does not really partake in The Burners car riding, Motorcity saving events. In that aspect she ends up seeming like the token girl. I donno if this makes sense, maybe I should shut up and take naps.

ah know i know what you mean!!! and i guess it does come of that way when she is the only girl in the main group BUT I GUESS IN MY HEAD token girl to me is more like

REALLY OVERT like WOWYOU'RE A GIRL GIRL POWR!! kind of stuff. Token denotes a kind of one-dimensional aspect where the character is mostly based around that ONE SINGULAR CHARACTERISTIC (like saying dutch is the black guy or texas is the asian guy or mike is...well mike is mixed up so hmm) rather than a full-fledged character which they all are??

Wow I spelled whole as who. Anyway, I would love to see all of that too! AHHHH, I heard about that and I feel like Disney doesn't really understand how people think. It isn't about using gender to appeal to gender. It should be story, feel, and mood of the work. I just want to have more episodes where Julie is given more than a pat on the head for being the "token" girl and Claire gets a showcase just to make a few laughs with Chuck.

yeah i agree although!! I honestly don't feel like julie is written as the token anything. yes she is the girl but they don't constantly point out WOW SHE'S A GIRL AND A GIRL WHO DOES THINGS she's just part of the team and does the things she does and is good at it??? like everyone else??? idk i'm pretty happy with julie's portrayal in the show

BUT YEAH I KINDA WANT MORE CLAIRE WITHOUT CHUCK as cute as i find chuck's crush on her i just want to know more about her as a character!! i know she's not super important because she's a side character and meant to play as a confidant to julie and just general support for her but IDK

I actually like Julie and Claire being lovey dovey. I think they could legit be a ladylove thing if the show actually gave them more screen time. I think that is another issue. Disney wants this to be a boy's show so they don't really touch on a lot of the girls. (Or I could be wrong, they do have a Julie ep coming out tomorrow, but stillll). But I also understand the who issue with shipping guys more than girls and crying about it internally. I probably missed the point of that comment.

and yeah disney really wants it to be a boy show, to the point they cut out another leading lady (although i do think the ladies we did get are extremely awesome) even tho they fail to realize that no one care as long as the action is good and the characters are interesting whoHAWHA
