Whole Team; Free Time Activities

Scout
Scout constantly wants to do something. Sitting around for hours makes him restless, so your free time together usually turns into little adventures.
He'll drag you around the town (or whatever city you're in) insisting he knows "the best pizza joint" or "this arcade is gonna blow your mind." Although half the fun is listening to him talk. He's always telling stories throughout, exaggerating every detail while waving his hands around dramatically.
Scout's also very competetive. Whether it's air hockey, basketball, racing games, or mini golf, everything somehow becomes a competition. If you beat him, he'll insist you cheated. If he wins, he'll celebrate like he just won a championship.
But when things slow down, there's a softer side. Late at night he'll flop onto the couch, throw an arm over your shoulders, and put on whatever terrible action movie is playing. Scout will spend half the movie making jokes and the other half unconsciously leaning against you. He loves physical closeness without even realising it.
Soldier
Soldier's idea of quality time is... unique. Some mornings he'll wake you up at dawn because today's lesson is "How to Survive a Communist Bear Attack." Except there are no bears... There are definitely no communists either.
But somehow you're both running obstacle courses through the woods while Soldier enthusiastically narrates military strategies. But despite the insanity, he genuinely enjoys teaching you things, even if they're wildly incorrect.
When you're not on one of his "training exercises", he likes simpler activities. Soldier enjoys grilling outside, polishing weapons while telling increasingly unbelievable war stories, and taking long walks where he points at random birds and confidently misidentifies every single one.
But if you laugh at him, he'll cross his arms dramatically and conversation might sound something like, "That was a bald eagle." , "It was a pigeon." , "A patriotic pigeon."
Pyro
Pyro's version of spending time together revolves around making happy memories. Nobody's entirely sure how Pyro manages it, but suddenly you're decorating cupcakes, painting flower pots, making paper crafts, or blowing bubbles in the backyard. Everything becomes colourful anf fun.
Pyro gets incredibly excited whenever you show interest in one of their hobbies. If you compliment something they made, even if it's something crooked or childish, they'll practically vibrate with happines.
Movie nights are common. Pyro loves animated films and anything visually expressive. They'll excitedly point at favourite scenes, even if you can't understand a word they're saying.
Sometimes the two of you simply sit together in comfortable silence. Pyro leans against you shoulder while absentmindedly drawing little doodles on scraps of paper.
Demoman
Demoman is one of those people who's just fun to be around. He loves inviting you to local pubs/bars, introducing you to everyone as if you're royalty. "You see this one? Best things that's ever happened to me."
He enjoys activities like darts, cards, billiards, storytelling, and laughing until his stomach hurts.
Back home, things become much quieter. He likes teaching you bits of Scottish slang, cooking family recipes (with mixed results), and listening to music while the two of you clean up after dinner.
Sometimes Demo will tell stories about growing up. The funny ones come first. The harder ones come much later, after enough trust has built between you. And those evenings usually end with the two of you sitting on the porch, watching the stars.
Heavy
Heavy treats quiet moments as precious. He grew up in difficult circumstances, so peace is something he never takes for granted.
Many afternoons are spent reading together. He'll sit in a large armchair while you curl up beside him. Sometimes he reads aloud, his deep voice making even ordinary books sound dramatic.
If you're interested, Heavy will happily teach you Russian. Very patiently. He doesn't mind repeating words until you get the right pronounciation.
Heavy genuinely enjoys preparing meals with someone beside him. He'll hand you vegetables to chop while explaining recipes his mother used to make. The kitchen usually ends up filled with laughter and too much food.
Engineer
Engineer absolutely thrives in domestic routines. You'll spend hours in his workshop while he explains how machines work while tinkering with gadgets, occasionally handing you tools so you can help.
"You wanna tighten that bolt?" , "What does it do?" , "Honestly? Not much. But now you're officially part of the project." He secretly loves when you ask questions.
Outside of the workshop, Engie enjoys country drives, fishing trips, barbecues, and sitting on the porch with coffee while listening to crickets. Sometimes you don't even talk. Just existing together is enough.
Other times he'll play his guitar. He likes having you hang around while he strums a few melodies, and loves it if you sing or hum along. Sometimes he plays a melody and asks you to guess the song.
Medic
Medic is endlessly curious. If you mention even the smallest hobby, he'll immediately want to learn everything about it. You paint? Show him. Chess? Challenge accepted. Cooking? He'll somehow turn it into and experiment.
He enjoys museums, bookstores, lectures, and puzzles that keep his mind occupied. He's also unexpectedly theatrical. He loves attending operas and classical concerts.
Back home, he'll dramtically reenact scenes afterward, complete with exaggerated accents and over the top gestures. If you laugh at him, it prompts him to do it more.
Medic absolutely steals your blanket while reading. He acts likes he's not doing anything if you glance at him, but then he acts offended if you try to take it back.
Sniper
Sniper's happiest when life's simple. He isn't interested in crowded places or constant excitement. Instead, he'll invite you camping.
You'll spend mornings making coffee over a campfire while birds wake up around you. He teaches you how to identify animal tracks. How to fish. How to identify birds by their calls.
Long drives through the Australian countryside are another favourite. Sometimes neither of you says a word for an hour and instead just let the radio play softly. The silence never feels awkward. It's always comfortable.
When you're home, he'll quietly fix broken things around the house. If he notices something needs repairing, he'll do it before you even realise.
Spy
Spy excels at making ordinary days feel elegant. He'll take you to quiet cafes, art galleries, high-end resturants, and evening walks through beautifully lit streets.
He enjoys chess because it lets the two of you sit together while exchanging witty remarks. He'll intentionally let you think you're winning... Until the final move.
Back home, his guard lowers. Spy cooks for you, surprisingly well. There will be jazz playing softly from the record player, maybe you'll even dance barefoot in the living room. Neither of you particularly cares who's leading.
Spy also enjoys reading with you. Doesn't matter if you're sitting in opposite chairs or next to each other, the calmess, perhaps with a glass of wine, is something he loves. Those private moments are worth far more to him than any expensive date.
How the TF2 Mercenaries would react to ASMR videos
Scout: If you asked him if he liked ASMR, his first response would be: “Eww, no! That shit is fucking weird!” and he would be very annoying about it. However, he secretly loves it and watches/listens to it every night before bed. Sometimes it’s the only way he can get to sleep.
Soldier: As a man who yells 90% of his words, he thinks ASMR is too damn quiet. He keeps trying to turn up the volume but doesn’t realize the whole point is that it’s supposed to be relaxing. Basically, he doesn’t understand it and doesn’t care to!
Pyro: Pyro would definitely love ASMR videos. In particular, they’re really into the fantasy roleplays and love losing themselves in the stories. One of their favourite ways to unwind before bed.
Demo: ASMR almost works a little TOO well on him in that he often falls asleep in the first two minutes. Prefers stuff like audiobooks or soft-spoken stories rather than tapping sounds, mukbang, etc.
Heavy: Heavy is mostly indifferent to ASMR. He doesn’t fully get the point of it, nor is it really his cup of tea, but he can see why others would benefit and enjoy it. Will recommend a video if he thinks his colleague would like it.
Engineer: Engie has an overactive/constantly working mind, so having something relaxing to listen to before sleep is a total life saver. He also enjoys putting it on as background sound when he’s working on a project as it helps him focus.
Medic: While I can’t really see him enjoying or caring about it much, I think he would find it fascinating purely from a scientific/biological perspective. He just can’t understand why other people get ASMR tingles and he doesn’t, and it drives him crazy lol
Sniper: I feel like he’d be really into the non-talking ASMR videos like soap cutting, wood carving, etc. Anything with whispering or eating sounds is like nails on a chalkboard to him, so he’s very selective about what he watches.
Spy: He truly and actively DESPISES any kind of ASMR content with his entire being. At least, that’s what he tells people, and maybe it was true at one point. Over time, however, he starts to see the appeal. Wouldn’t be caught dead watching it, of course.

I'm nearing on a 10 year milestone when it comes to writing fanfiction. So recently I've been feeling incredibly nostalgic for where it all began...
If you're finding this in the TF2 tag, and you're on Wattpad, you might recognise me heh..
Back in 2017, I joined Wattpad, I initially read fanfic until I got inspired to write my own, albeit very poorly given that I was was about 13, or perhaps 14 when I really got engrossed, but nonetheless I've been writing ever since then. In recent times, I haven't been very consistent with my work becasue I got older, and naturally I have responsibilities that come first, alongside some personal battles I've dealt with along the way.
But I wanted to talk about the book that started it all...
I made my first book on Wattpad in late 2017. A TF2 X Reader. I was writing constantly. I literally dived right in after I realised just how much I enjoyed writing, and I was writing constantly. I never gained much traction as there were so many brilliant creators, but it was (and never has been) about that. I was merely writing for my own enjoyment for one of my most beloved fandoms and sharing it.
After a little while it took off, and I opened a request scheme and then it opened up more opportunity for me to share my work. It also allowed me to make so many friends, and some of which I still talk to to this day. But honestly, it just felt so amazing to share my work with the world.
For those who may not know, this is my book...
The milestones that this book has reached has left me absolutely speechless. Honestly, seeing this book at 450k views in 2026, after nearly ten years, is astounding. I never anticipated this, nor was this ever the goal, but just... wow... I truly cannot express my gratitude enough to those who have engaged with this book. It means the world to me.
But there is something I want to humbly express...
In late 2021 to early 2022, I edited some chapters in this book, gave it a nice tidy, and ever since then it's been untouched.
A lot of people were baffled by my reasons to unexpectedly stop writing for TF2 entirely in 2022. I was heavily engrossed in it and then just disappeared... To briefly explain it, I experienced some backlash online that really detered me from the fandom... Mostly because of my exclusivity to remain within my boundaries. At one point, I felt there was obligation on my shoulders to write, even for things I wasn't comfortable with, more so than just mere choice of my own. I also had requests coming in quicker than I could cater for, and while I take that as a compliment that folks wanted to request my work, I was overrun and completely burnt out eventually, alongside dealing with responsibilities in life...
I don't want to ramble too much about the negatives, because realistically, the positives definitely out-weigh them. Which is why I've decided to come back. The book and fandom itself was (and always has been) a safe spot for me, and hopefully for others too.
I've always wished to be just a humble creator online. I've never made a penny from anything I've ever produced in these last 10 years, and I intend to carry that on.
Alright fuck it I'll just say my headcanon for sniper tf2.
Sniper is as young as scout he just looks older due to not shaving.

Whole Team; How They Kiss
Author's Note: this was originally an old post of mine (that i deleted) from a few years ago. i have plent of fresh ideas so there's more to follow!

Scout
Scout's style is energetic, playful, and enthusiastic when it comes to kisses. Sometimes he kisses like he's trying to prove something. He starts with quick pecks, because he's nervous, even if he's acting cocky.
He loves stealing kisses when you're distracted. If you're busy he'll lean in and kiss your cheek or quickly peck your lips. And if you try to shoo him away he'll do it again before running off.
Once he's comfortable, he gets surprisingly affectionate and will grin into the kiss. But as he's so comfortable he might surprise them with a kiss attack. Even in front of people, if his S/O isn't shy, Scout doesn't care.
If you kiss him first, he'll freeze for half a second before immediately kissing you back.
Soldier
Soldier's style is clumsy, earnest, but surprisingly tender. But generally, he has absolutely no idea what he's doing sometimes.
The first kiss is probably way too forceful because he thinks confidence equeals success. You may have to teach him a thing or two...
But once Soldier realises that gentleness works better, he's incredibly sincere. He cups you face like you're the most precious thing in America.
Every kiss somehow feels like he's making a solemn promise.
Pyro
Pyro's style is soft, careful, and affectionate. To them, consent and comfort are everything.
Since communication is difficult, Pyro checks your reactions constantly. They frequently pull back enough to read your expression, and steps back at any sign discomfort.
Pyro loves forehead kisses, hand kisses, and nuzzling just as much as lip kisses. Although, if Pyro is wearing their mask, it becomes a 'boop' instead.
Generally, their kisses are slow and full of affection. They also get visibly excited afterward, bouncing happily.
Demoman
Demoman's style is warm, passionate, and comforting. When he's sober enough to appreciate the moment, his kisses are confident, and incredibly romantic.
Sometimes he laughs between kisses if he's more playful, but he always wraps an arm securely around your waist and pulls you close regardless of mood.
He loves long kisses after a hard day. They feel comforting and reassuring. Demo tends to cling to them during times like this.
Demoman will absolutely kiss your forehead before heading out on a mission, but also loves receiving a quick kiss before battle for luck.
Heavy
Heavy's kisses are slow, protective, and deeply loving. Despite how intimidating he looks, he's one of the gentlest.
He has a habit of tilting your chin up carefully before kissing you. But as there is most likely a height difference, Heavy will always lean down to kiss you. He may even pick you up if you're really that much shorter than him and can't reach.
Heavy likes lingering kiss where neither of you feels rushed. He's generally very reserved with kisses so this tends to happen in private.
Afterwards, he'll almost always rest his forehead against yours in comfortable silence, smiling softly.
Engineer
Engineer's style is sweet, domestic, and reasurring. He really isn't flashy. Every kiss is meaningful, even the small, quick ones.
He gives a lot of goodbye and welcome-home kisses, as well as a quick kiss to the cheek or forhead before battle sometimes. Also loves receiving these kisses too.
If you're working beside him in the workshop, he'll absentmindedly lean over for a quick kiss before getting back to fixing something.
Engineer makes affection feel easy and natural. He often pulls you close to him at random just to kiss you, and he smile against your lips every time.
Medic
Medic's style is confident, teasing, and unexpectedly romantic. He studies your reactions with scientific curiousity at first, then forgets all about "research" because he's enjoying himself.
He likes holding your jaw and/or brushing you hair aside. He gives it a moment to hold you gaze before he kisses you.
He has a habit of smiling into kisses when he's teasing. That's when he'll let his lips brush yours before actually kissing you.
Medic can switch from teasing to intimate within seconds. They suddenly become passionate, especially in the way he pulls you against him.
Sniper
Sniper's style is quiet, intimate, and genuine. Although, he doesn't initiate very often, especially not around others. But when he does, it's always meaningful.
He always has his hands on your waist when he pulls you in for a kiss, and has a habit of brushing hair from your face. He doesn't realise it, but he always has a small smile on his face before right he kisses you too.
His kisses are slow and meaningful rather than frequent. It's like he's reserved it all for those private moments with you.
If he trusts you enough to kiss your forehead in front of someone else, that's basically a declaration of love.
Spy
Spy's style is elegant, confident, and intesnsely romantic. He's and expert kisser, obviously. Kissing is a mastered skill to him.
He knows exactly how to make every kiss feel memorable. He loves brushing his thumb over you cheek beforehand, holding your gaze.
Spy will kiss you hand just to make you smile. What else can you expect? He's a gentleman.
But behind all the practiced charm, his most genuine kisses happen when he forgets to maintain his suave persona.
Kudos to my brother for the most big-brained headcanon of all time: Medic does the “floating thumb” trick for Soldier and Scout’s kids, except it’s not an illusion, he just has someone’s thumb in his pocket ready to go.
