0001. Like a New-born Baby
Saturdays are school days for us. But this Saturday is unlike any other because we were planning something else out of our norms. AdPrac1 is our last class every Saturday and it usually ends at 5PM or earlier. But our prof brought us somewhere to watch some Chinese culture introduction show. As soon as we got in there, we were planning ways on how to get out. Haha! We swerved like ninjas and went out of the auditorium. Say ninja moves! As we got out of the gates of España, we had a feeling that tonight will be one of our best nights together ever.
Our destination? Cubao X. We rode the LRT going to Cubao. We met up with Axl in Gateway so we could all go together. As we got nearer and nearer to our destination, I can feel jeepers creepers all over me, but in a good way! I was so psyched and excited because Cubao X is really one of my top spots. As soon as we got inside, we ventured those shops like tourists. Fel bought some cool eyeglasses at a very low price while I bought this vintage metal cigarette case and we all bought some Coca-Cola collectible cards for the sake of having something to remember the trip by. There were so many shops to check that I can't possibly tell them all in detail so go figure and visit Cubao X :)
The last shop we went into was The Reading Room. They were selling stuff from all the range like clothes, accessories, stationaries, etc. But one thing that caught our attention was this big rectangular canvas bag that has a postal mail print in front. Like a new-born baby, the idea was born. Since we all wanted the bag that much, we decided to buy it and have fair shares of using it. Sounds like The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, right? Exactly my point.
We ate dinner at Kebab X. Superb place, I'll say. The food was so tasty and the place is oozing with art and coolness. After dinner, we signed our signatures on the bag and made the rules of using it.
We will take turns in using the bag, preferably when someone goes somewhere and we're not all together. Something to remember the trip by (memorabilla, yes) will be placed inside the bag before it is passed on to the next user. Some note about the trip will also be included, even just a little piece of paper; most likely the one thing you'll never forget about the trip. And when the bag is almost full with so many memorabillas, that's when we make new rules :)
Today was actually a pre-Valentines date for the six of us. We won't have classes this whole coming week so we won't be able to see each other. JD's going to Singapore and Michelle is going to Ilo-Ilo. So there's no way we can see each other next week. JD is bringing the bag to Singapore. That lucky bag, naunahan pa kong magpunta ng ibang bansa. Haha! Our Cubao X date was such a blast and we all had the best time of our lives. A trip we won't ever forget, definitely.
I'm going to miss you guys, even just for a week. I started the blog as you may see. Just like how we planned it. College won't be the same without us all together. Cheers to the sisterhood!♥ -- Grace
