Women are always being called crazy. Pretty much from the beginning we’re referred to as the crazier sex probably starting with chasing boys around the playground. As we age it only gets worse. From boy crazy and party crazy to marriage crazy and baby crazy and sometimes even bat sh** crazy, we are called, crazy. Now, maybe its just me but the craziness is derived from passion. Since I was young, I’ve been the type who gets something in my head and obsesses over it. Like uncontrollable obsession. From crushes and boyfriends to haircuts and rearranging my room, I develop somewhat of a problem. I can’t sleep or eat, not an hour goes by without creating some sort of scheme to get to my ultimate result. For women alike, this can be considered a good quality. It means, in the simplist terms, we get sh** done. Once we put our minds to something, we will reach our goal. There’s a great quote I’ve seen written in many a nurseries recently, “For when she wakes, she will move mountains”. Its true. Our obsession turns into our ability to follow through. And who knows what we’re capable of once we put our minds to something. Next time you’re thinking of calling a women crazy, just realize its in our DNA. It runs companies and countires, carpools and households. Its our competitive and persistant nature. Even if it is about cats.
