Eh.  She’s okay.  I do think she’s overstretching their friendship/his honesty but she is willing to admit he is a misogynist with a serious drinking problem.  I did kind of crack up at the idea of him being a romantic.  

Plus, he is kind of entitled and fancies himself to be unlucky in love/always the victim like Ted.

If he doesn’t appreciate or love you for you, then he doesn’t deserve you. take care of yourself and the rest will follow :)

Thank you.  I had a cry later, after talking to him after a show.  It was awkward for us and for our friends because we very deliberately, even when it was the two of us, refused to talk about what had happened.  It was just the most abrupt and painful realization that I needed to move on.  He knew that I still wanted him and we never talk about it, and that's all the answer I needed.
