Who is singer @Sluttyburrito? @Cre3sol Q&A with #AutumnDawn Feature Adia
Born and raised in Baltimore, MD on August 20, 1995 to a Trinidadian mother and an African-American father, Adia has always had a profound admiration for music and the arts. She’d always been shy and was known at school and summer camps as “the quiet girl.” Adia found her voice on Christmas Day, 2001. She was 6 years old and her mother had given her the first CD she’d ever own and the one she’d always remember. It was Aretha Franklin’s "Greatest Hits". Inspired by the powerful voice of Aretha Franklin, Adia decided she wanted to sing. Her mother realized how passionate she was about music, and Adia began private voice lessons at the Nathan Carter School of Music at the age of 9. Although she is classically trained, Adia’s voice is definitely not limited to that genre. She sang with the Western High School Choir from 2009-2013 as well as Western High School’s Sounds Unlimited from 2010-2013. Adia graduated from Western High School and currently attends Towson University.
1. What is your name? Adia
2. Where are you from? Baltimore, MD
3. Why do you create? I sing because it allows me to express myself and connect with others in a more effective way than simply speaking to people.
4. Why is it important for today’s youth to be able to express themselves through art?
Youth often struggle to efficiently connect with each other and the world around them. Art has the ability to bring people together.

6. Stranded on an island, what three albums do you have?
