Prototype #4 for the Desk Castor Bracket. Note I've changed the through bolt from M10 to M8 (which may still be overkill). Also flipped the M4 fasteners, so no longer need the Hex countersink, but just a circular sink for the cap screws. Also, hard to spot but the uprights are thinner too. Still working on the bracket to mobilise the desk. #3. I've ditched the top bracket, electing to drill though the leg instead and fix with a M10 bolt. Just 2 weeks, 12 hrs of printing, 8 of design and countless hrs of YouTube. 😂 Mastering Design, Parametric modelling, Fusion360, Slicing, and 3D printing. . . @lucylastic53 asked me to produce a wall bracket for her Ukelele for school. This was my second "self-designed" 3D printing project. 5 design iterations (including one restart), 2 prototypes, and the finished product. . I'm starting to become proficient in Autodesk Fusion360, and figure out how to design something that won't need supports on the printer.
