ok so i was lowkey waltzing at a classical music halloween concert with a girl who i maybe possibly kinda fancy, and then this happened:
Her: You know, waltzing was pretty scandalous back in the day.

Her: Partners were so... close together. Pretty much touching.
My dumb ass: *internal screaming*
it was our very own little “waltzing like its 1698” moment and i had a lowkey highkey gay panic
Carmilla fandom’s current status:
I’m watching the Thin Ice episode of the new Doctor Who season and there’s a large fish creature with bioluminescence luring people to their death (or something) and my immediate hope was that it was a giant anglerfish like from Carmilla.
