Thank you to my brother @StevenOthello for always believing in me. And speaking me getting my very own sneaker into existence a year ago. When he first said “you’re going to get your own sneaker” I was like “word?”, then I began to believe and say it as well “I want to get my own sneaker” it became a goal. Steve’s thoughts became reality and the AM4 Kwasi Kessie was born. Thank you my brother for having a vision so great for me that sometimes I can’t see. And for co-designing and marketing our very own shoe. Our younger selves would be so proud of us. We have come a long way from Manhattan Center High School, LIU, & Laced Magazine, to now co-designing our very own shoe. Love you bro cant wait to make your next visions come true for us both. Growing up in Harlem New York, naturally led to turning me into a sneaker connoisseur. For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to stand out. I wanted my sneaker to incorporate different accents that represent my life and the things that have shaped it.
