Sometimes we get the ratio of life and magic, play and work, autonomy and fate, duty and desire, details and scope, just right. While we have it, we draw ourselves purposefully deeper into it with wonder and appreciation, applying to a multitude of questions and subjects until it starts to fade. Of course moments are just momentary, and shit will hit the fan at some point, but even through the muck and mire we remember that we are creating and living a life together, that sometimes there is space and softness to capture a moment, and sometimes there is anger and chaos. Whatever comes will go, and if we pay attention, whatever goes will teach. Maybe. But perhaps the purpose of it all is simply to experience and live it all knowing that it is perfect no matter what it is. Some days that is harder to remember.
