CREATIVE CATHARSIS: PAGES OF POETRY
*Circa 2010; A tbt Tribute
Some random scratch of irony I wrote down in college, which I originally mentally noted while doing the laundry (and was hidden in another social network album the entire time which shows a lock icon and states Only Me):
*Burst of thoughts; Connect the dots; It’s out!
At the start of an exhilarating morning,
Open your eyes
Daydream in a reel dimension
Drink from a lemonade lagoon.

Hear a cuckoo from a thrush
Remove the cobwebs
Open up the dusty window
Let the red, orange, and violet blasting hues
Illuminate the world you’re trying to hide from everyone
Rip off your pajamas into a grass skirt
Step one foot forward on the roof
Feel the drizzle passionately
Dance rumba in the rain
Experience catharsis
Lay yourself up
Close your eyes.
…………………………………………………………………
Snooze the alarm
Witness spiders crawling on the wall
Tire your eyes over a close square
Laze in the four corners of darkness
Say no to natural moisturizer
Stay under those faded PJs
Whisper yourself stay in your shell
Conceal your emotions
Sing with gloomy bitterness
Restrain your real happiness
Loll yourself down
Close your eyes.

What you see is up to you.

Box your frustrations
Vent out your emotions
Have a unique skill of a deserter
Prefer to rise above your name.
Wear a glamorous ball gown
Bow like a pauper
Binge on a chocolate cake
Strut that red and sexy dress
Put on a pair of spunky chucks
Tie those femme fatale laces
Keep your head high gorgeous
With a simple canvass face.
Shop until you drop
Budget is key
Splurge in books
Save for content
Buy a cottoncandy
Avoid childish stuff.
Take neat notes
Don’t mind red and blue lines
Practice disciplinary performance
It’s fine to forget some words
Draw an abstract masterpiece
Focus on essence.
Dare play the guitar
Without complete strings
Dance for desire
Don’t explain at all
Rock and roll
Leave alone the drugs.
Let others run first
Overlimit the finish line
Surf and love the waves
Hate the sharks
Control the ball
Mark it outside.
Save the earth
Use resources freely
Run in the wilderness
Walk in plain surfaces
Don’t be afraid to fly
Even though it’s just a dream.
Be satisfied
Ask for more
You’re half-empty
You’re half-full
Push the boredom
Embrace the silence
It’s an element of choice, yes!
Learn to say no!

At the end of a knackered day,
Close your peepers
Drift off from a real dimension
It’s time to drink your milk from a glass.
