Day_22 blocks
I saw decorative blocks like these in a fancy house once and it just stuck because they are so simple, no other purpose than to just sit there and look pretty 😜😂 (and I mean it in the nicest way possible) so I added a little extra flare of abstract beach theme, seems I'm too attracted to the sea/sea related things despite having spent little to no time there XD

Amelie Pichard’s apartment
This colorful home in the Netherlands combines old and new with a hint of rustic. This antique wood burning fireplace is lovely and it’s surrounded by funky mid-century art and a lamp.
When architect couple, Neha & Gaurav, moved to a new apartment the biggest challenge they faced was to make their home into a piece of work that reflected their ideology and style. It turned out beautifully- just look at the entrance door to the apt.
In the foyer is the other side of the entrance door, plus a gallery wall.
They have the most unusual furniture- here’s a fabulous original wall sculpture in the living room.
The combination living/dining room has bench seating, a retro table, and so much to see.
This large space has been arranged into several seating areas plus a dining area.
The gallery wall in the living room- LOVE the colorful sideboard.
Details of the living room- a silhouette lamp post sticker is decorated with wall hangings and a clock. An interesting closet in the hall is surrounded by a gallery.
From the breakfast bar, the blue kitchen cabinets are visible.
The balcony is just outside of the breakfast bar.
Making the most of a small balcony- bright yellow, it’s got a place to sit, as well as a space to plant.
This looks like it may have come with the apt., and it’s very cool- closed, it’s a chalkboard, but it pulls down to a full-size table.
Not only is this wall fabulously interesting, but it’s actually a Murphy bed for guests.
In this apt., they’ve found a space for everything- even a colorful play station.
The master bedroom is a bright, happy blue with a checkered floor.
In a corner of the master, they’ve set up a nursery.
A playful en suite master bath matches the decor of the bedroom. What a colorful, creative, apt.

Artist/textile designer Cilla’s house was built in the 19th cent. She’s created a home with space for both guests and creative whims. The result is a sanctuary in constant change.
On the house's heaviest furniture, an old filing cabinet, is a collection of mixed flea market finds that Cilla rearranges according to taste and season.
Wallpaper frames the entire living room. Gray is the consistent color of the house's walls, floors and ceiling, albeit in many different shades. "It's the perfect base color, so old-fashioned and modern at the same time," Cilla says.
Cilla painted the dining room's old wooden floor in an old-fashioned pattern with gray squares and white stars, but left some boards completely untouched.
The dining table consists of wooden legs and a glass top that is held in place by a specially ordered steel frame. Every spring, Cilla puts a new fabric under the glass and gets a cloth that stays fresh all summer.
Right in the middle of the house is the small kitchen with a charming mix of original furnishings and modern additions.
A collection of checkered thermoses is gathered in the cupboard together with all kinds of utensils.
A fabric found at a flea market hangs on the window. Notice the cute miniature furniture on the farthest ceiling beam - at Cilla's home there is always room for another still life.
Traces of Cilla's love of textiles and handicrafts can be seen everywhere.
