This video shows an interracial couple at a barbershop where a black female stylist is prejudice against the white girlfriend at a prominently known black barbershop in Harlem. it shows the ideal of fitting in to a culture that the black female barber feels the white girlfriend isn’t apart of. What makes this controversial is the idea that white women dont belong in a black business meant to serve black people and also that she doesnt deserve to be with a black man because her ancestors supposedly were oppressors.
