How do you imagine Catra and Glimmer's relationship as they are probably both stuck in the ship of Horde Prime?

Well, I assume they’re going to be on the ship together for some time between seasons, regardless of when they’re rescued (or escape, though I think a rescue is a bit more likely to happen, or it’ll be part rescue and part escape) in Season 5, and I do feel like the relationship is going to change quite a bit over the time they’re forced to spend together. 

I do feel like, at first, there is going to be quite a bit of tension and anger, especially on Glimmer’s side. Even if she does realize that she and Catra are not that different, in the sense that Glimmer knows she also did some pretty horrible things recently, including hurting her friends…the fact stands that if Catra hadn’t opened the portal at the end of the previous season, Angella never would have needed to sacrifice herself, meaning the events that led to them being captured wouldn’t have happened. And if Glimmer went off a bit on Adora, blaming her for her mother being gone because she wasn’t able to stop it, I think she’s gonna be even more angry at Catra for being the one who flipped the switch and made it happen. She might be thankful to Catra for helping to ensure Horde Prime didn’t just decide to get rid of her or destroy everything right then and there…but it’s not gonna be possible for her to let go of those feelings right away.

Eventually, though, I think they are just going to talk, and they will start to really realize they’ve got more in common than they realized before. Though, it’s probably more accurate to say they’ve got more in common than either of them - especially Glimmer- wanted to admit. I think they’ll end up bonding over that, as well as over talking about the fact that they had both been friends with Adora at some point, as well as Glimmer probably talking about Bow at some point, mostly because I thinking talking about Catra’s past with Adora would end up indirectly encouraging Glimmer to bring up her own long-term friendship with Bow...if Catra doesn’t bring him up before then, which is equally likely, especially if Glimmer brings up Catra’s past with Adora. Catra does not seem like the type to take questioning about personal matters without turning it against the other person if she can.

I don’t know if I think they’d consider each other “friends” by the time they get off the ship, but they will at least be willing to see one another as an ally, and would not be against the idea of potentially upgrading that to actual friendship in the future. Though, no matter what, I think they would have quite a bit of belligerence between them, regardless of if they’re on the same side or not. Just because no one can convince me that if things weren’t really serious, Catra would not just delight in being a nuisance just because she knows it annoys Glimmer and she finds that hilarious.

How do you imagine the reunion of Glimmer with Bow and Glimmer with her father?

Well, I think that her reunion with Bow is gonna just be very emotional. They’re both going to be incredibly relieved that the other is okay, since you know that they were both very worried about each other for the entire time they were separated. There’s definitely some tears involved, as well as the most intense hug of their lives. 

Actually, they probably have two hugs, in rapid succession. First, Glimmer literally tackles Bow to hug him, and after they finally part from that, he immediately pulls her in for another. There’s also likely apologies from both side, but it’s mostly going to be emotional hugging and talking about how relieved they each are that the other is okay. Afterwards, they are going to be basically inseparable for some time after; they’d been apart too long, and want to stick together if they can do anything to help it.

As for Glimmer’s reunion with Micah...I can see there being a lot of mixed feelings there? Obviously they’re happy to be together, with Glimmer probably being practically overjoyed that she still has one of her parents, since she’d spent so long thinking she was basically an orphan, following what had happened to her mother at the end of Season 3. 

However, I feel like Micah would have a bit of a hard time constantly remembering that Glimmer is an adult now. He genuinely didn’t realize how long he was gone, so he kept imagining Glimmer as a little girl; it’s going to be hard to adjust to the truth. And I think Glimmer will get frustrated with her father treating her and talking about her like she’s a little kid, instead of an adult. They will come to an understanding, but I feel like it would take some time for both to adjust to having the other around.

Your idea how Bow and Glimmer met?

I don’t have an exact headcanon for their ages, but I do headcanon them as being fairly young when it happened - young enough that they considered themselves kids at any rate. 

My headcanon is that they met when Bow was just sort of playing around in the Whispering Woods, probably fairly close to Bright Moon. While he was doing that, Glimmer had decided to run/wander off, because she was upset by something that had happened between her and her mother - most likely Angella scolding/grounding her for something she’d done earlier that day. She wasn’t planning to run away or anything, but she wanted to get away from the castle for a while and have some fun, and figured the Woods would be a good place to do that.

Glimmer heard Bow and decided to check out what the sound was...But since she wasn’t super skilled at teleporting when she couldn’t actually see where she was going, she ended up being off her “aim” a little. Instead of teleporting next to him like she wanted, she ended up above him and, as a result, fell on top of him. Once Glimmer realized she’d just landed on another kid, she immediately started apologizing, but Bow - once he’d recovered from her falling on him - just started asking questions about how she’d done that, which led to them just talking about a bunch of stuff before deciding to start playing a sort of version of hide-and-seek tag using her powers. 

It took about 15 minutes for them to decide they were best friends.

So how would you describe Pearl?

Pearl definitely takes after her father in a lot of ways, both in terms of behavior and appearance. There are subtle differences between them, but pretty much anyone who meets her and knows Sea Hawk can immediately tell their father and daughter, and notes how much Pearl looks like him. 

The most notable traits that she gets from her mother are that she has Mermista’s eyes (albeit without the tendency to almost constantly look absolutely done with everything), her skin is a bit on the darker side because of the influence of Mermista’s genes, and her hair is curly.

While her hair has the same texture as Mermista’s, it’s the same color as Sea Hawk’s (I’ve seen it described as being something between brown and purple, depending on the lighting). As for length, she usually keeps it fairly short, about shoulder length or just barely longer than that. 

As for other details…from about the time she’s five onwards, she often wears a necklace made of turquoise that her father got her during one of his “adventures” away from Salineas. She wears it partly just because she loves pretty much everything Sea Hawk gets her as a gift, and partly to symbolically give the middle finger to her maternal grandfather. She also gets her ears pierced when she’s seven, since it’s around then that she starts going on “adventures” with her father, and she insisted on the piercings to make her look more like a “real pirate”.

How do you think Micah and Angella met?

I imagine it had something to do with wanting to fight against the Horde. We see that Micah was obviously very upset when he saw what the Horde was doing, to the point where that did seem to be a major factor in him agreeing to help Light Spinner perform the Spell of Obtainment, even if he did ultimately decide that whatever the possible benefits of the spell might have been, it wasn’t worth the risk involved. 

But, I do think he did genuinely want to stop the Horde from hurting more people, especially as he got older and knew they were doing more damage to Etheria and the people. So, besides just honing his own skills, I think he also spent time thinking of how he could even stand a chance against a literally army like the Horde; particularly when Mystacor as a whole seemed deadset on being fairly neutral - some people there wanted to fight, but it was agreed that the Sanctuary itself would stay out of the conflict as much as possible, though they would provide a safe place for anyone effected by the Horde to rest for a time. 

Eventually, Micah realized that there was basically no way he could even hope to stand a chance on his own, or even with the help of his fellow Sorcerers who also agreed that the Horde needed to be stopped before they did too much damage to their home. And he came to realize that if there was anyone who might be able to help, it was the Queen of Bright Moon, and the Princesses of the other Etherian Kingdoms. It was just a matter of getting them to be a little more proactive, since most of them seemed content with just doing their best to fend off attacks that were already happening, rather than trying to prevent them in the first place.

He decided to start at the top, requesting an audience with the Queen of Bright Moon, Angella. Considering her status, he expected to be waiting a very long time before he could speak with an envoy from her Kingdom, and never even considered that he’d be able to directly converse with her for quite some time. However, to his amazement, it was less than a month before he was asked to come to Bright Moon to speak with the Queen, and when he arrived, he was taken directly to the throne room, to speak with her personally. And that was the moment that the two of them met.

Glimmer:

Favorite thing about them: I feel like there’s a lot that I admire about Glimmer, but one of the biggest things is just the fact that she is a very determined person who is willing to push herself if that’s what it takes to do what she feels is right, especially if it means helping defend her home and her friends. Yes, that mindset can backfire on her, but I have to appreciate the idea behind it, at least. 

Least favorite thing about them: While it can be entertaining, I do hope that she will learn to really start thinking more before just jumping into things. Yes, so far, it’s worked out fairly well for her, but given the type of situation and environment she’s living in, it’s only a matter of time until her tendency to do things without really thinking too much about it - or, more accurately, often letting her emotions get the better of her, is really going to get her into a lot of trouble. 

Favorite Line: Not so much a line, but I always love the dialogue in her introductory scene, but since I’m gonna assume I can’t cheat here, I’m gonna go with a line from a bit later. “She stationed me all the way out there because it’s too remote to ever get attacked, but then it did! And it was my one chance to prove that I can do this. But she acts like I can’t do anything because I’m ‘just a princess’.”

brOTP: Her and Adora, for sure. I’ve actually come to realize that I personally see their relationship as being very much like that of siblings, especially in the second and third seasons. Plus, their dynamic is just amazing. I also love her and Frosta’s dynamic in season two, and hope we might get more of that. It’s fun to see Glimmer being somewhat protective of Frosta, as well as frustrated with her at times. And obviously I love her relationship with her mother like crazy.

OTP: I don’t think anyone who follows me will be at all surprised when I say that the answer for this question is Glow/Glimbow. Actually, as of right now, Bow is the only character I really ship Glimmer with in a seriously romantic way. I just don’t really see her as being interested in anyone else in that way, based on what I’ve seen in the show up to this point. 

nOTP: Gotta be perfectly honest and say Glitra, or any ship involving Glimmer and Catra. I’m just not a fan of those kinds of shipping dynamics, and while I could see them eventually becoming friends, that’s really all I could see them being. And even that I think would take a while for them to go from basically just tolerating each other for Adora’s sake, to actually kind of liking each other…but still getting on each other’s nerves a lot of the time.

Random headcanon: She wasn’t born with her hair sparkles, but they are still genetic and can be passed down to any children she might have. The sparkles are also like dalmatian spots, where they weren’t visible when she was born, but showed up later, specifically they started showing up around her first birthday. 

Unpopular opinion: I guess outside of shipping stuff, there’s the fact that I am really not looking forward to a potential “Dark Glimmer” storyline, and while I get the feeling it’s going to happen, I genuinely hope that rather than give her a full-on villain arc, the most that happens is that she becomes a bit more morally gray and her perceptions of good and bad are tested more, to the point where she starts to lose her mindset that people are pretty much only good or bad, and that’s it. I’m hoping that she becomes more of a well-intentioned extremist, where she does genuinely want to do what she feels is good, but makes some bad decisions to do it. 

Song I associate with them: I’m honestly blanking on this one, but if anyone wants to send me a song they think fits Glimmer, I’ll definitely listen to it, and possibly change this answer. But, for now, I gotta admit to not really having an answer.

Favorite thing about them: The fact that he honestly seems to care about pretty much everyone, including people who are technically his enemies? I mean, obviously he has limits to his kindness, and will attack people who hurt his friends, but when not actively fighting, you do have to love that he genuinely seems to care about pretty much everyone he meets. Probably the best example being how seems to try and act friendly with Catra when he and Glimmer have her captive…until she shoves him off a cliff, at least.

Least favorite thing about them: Honestly, right now, just the fact that we really don’t know that much about him, despite him being one of the main characters? He’s in basically every episode up to this point, and yet there’s still a lot about this guy that feels like a total mystery, even after we got basically a whole episode that revolved around learning more about him. I love this boy, and I want to know more about him - seriously hoping we get another episode about him in the upcoming seasons. 

Favorite Line: There’s a lot of lines from him I love, but this might be one of my favorites, partly because of the context…and partly because I am pure Glow trash. “Glimmer, you know everything about me - the real me.I act like someone I’m not with my family because the truth would hurt them.”

brOTP: I really like him and Adora, because they really do have a cute dynamic, that I see as kind of toeing the line between best friends and almost like siblings. But I also would love to see him and Entrapta interacting more, since I feel like there are hints that they’d be pretty good friends if they were able to spend more time together that doesn’t involve Bow trying to get Entrapta to realize she’s messing with things she shouldn’t be messing with. They can bond over their interests of inventing things. 

OTP: Him and Glimmer, of course. I have such a soft spot for friends-to-lovers ships, and these two are just so adorable even without that being a factor. How could I not absolutely adore them together?

nOTP: I mean, it’s kind of hard for me to really name a NOTP for him? Like, I prefer him with Glimmer over basically any other character, but even if I’m not a big fan of a lot of alternative ships, I don’t really have a problem with them? I guess maybe him and Catra as well? If only because I don’t think they’d be compatible that way, since I don’t think Catra would be interested in men, at all. 

Random headcanon: While he didn’t actually go to school for it, he does actually know a fair amount of history, partly just from the fact that most of the people in his family are historians, and partly because when he was growing up, he would occasionally look up information on subjects that interested him…though obviously he hid what he was actually looking up whenever he read about things like pirates or technology. 

Unpopular opinion: I guess just the fact that I don’t headcanon him as trans? Obviously I have no issues if he is canonically proven to be trans, or the fact that people have that headcanon. But, as far as my own interpretation, and my stories are concerned, I do headcanon him as having been born male, and just being sensitive, and liking some more traditionally feminine interests. 

Song I associate with them: Same thing as I said about Glimmer - nothing is really coming to mind at the moment, so I’m gonna leave this one open for now.

Glimmer and Bow vs Shadow Weaver Consider that they are stronger together but their relationship also makes them vulnerable

Normally I’d be assuming it’s a fair fight, but I can’t really do that here consider who is involved. 

Shadow Weaver would probably win, because not only is she a much more skilled sorceress who would probably have at least some idea of how to counter anything Glimmer or Bow could try and throw at her, especially if she could tell it was going to happen - I think Glimmer only got that punch on her one time because Shadow Weaver didn’t consider that Glimmer would be able to break through the restraints.

But, also, you know she’d definitely fight dirty, and as quickly as she could, she’d grab one of them - probably Bow, if only because he can’t teleport away for a quick escape - and use them to make the other surrender. Because there is no way either of them would risk hurting the other, even if it meant taking Shadow Weaver down.
