Ok random person who's tags I saw scrolling through that Shen anon Yuri post, here you go:

So, imagine if you will, a girl. I haven't thought of a proper name for her yet, honestly the girls were just A and B in my head. Let's go with Annabelle, sure.

Annabelle is the daughter of famous Parisian crime boss Vera Dubois. At her mother's behest, Annabelle has been granted some territory and goons in order to introduce her to the family business. She's been up to the classic bank robberies, fraud and counterfeiting that you'd expect. And she absolutely sucks at it.

Vera, expecting this, has bribed the local detective, one miss Béatrice Laurent. She has been keeping tabs on Annabelle to ensure her crimes go under the radar. In her time watching her, Béatrice has kept a little diary of all her exploits and has crafted quite the image of her in her head. It's honestly kind of cute how hard she tries, Béatrice would think to herself after each failed scheme which "magically" doesn't land Annabelle in prison. They had never met face to face of course, this was a behind the scenes sort of arrangement.

It actually took a complete coincidence for them to meet for the first time, on one of Béatrice's few days off. She likes to walk through the park, drink coffee and brood in the shade. She thinks it makes her look cool, and she is kinda right. But anyway, on this such walk, she heard the pounding footsteps of someone running up behind her, and hooded figure pushed past her. Instinctively, she grabbed the figures arm and spun her around. By the time she recognised Annabelle's face from the picture Vera had given her months ago, it was already too late. She and this girl were about to get in a lot of trouble.

And that's all the preamble to Yuri I can write in one sitting!
