Background
Jim comes from a well off family. His relationship with his brother is exceptionally good. The year Jim left Hong Kong to study abroad in Canada, his brother and some friends were canoeing and was never seen again.
Encounter
Many years later, his brother's remains were discovered on a deserted island. Forensic testing confirmed that he was murdered. At first Jim could still calmly face the matter. However, the more the case exposed more and more of the pain his brother was facing before his death. Despite being a professional psychologist and having a high EQ but actually Jim could not control his emotions. Jim did not listen to his girlfriend Mandy Cheung's advice. Instead he tried to avenge his brother on his own. The investigation revealed differences between Jim and Mandy which lead to their breakup. In the end, the murderer was finally brought to justice but Jim paid the price with his relationship with Mandy.
* At lease it's not a 超级好男人 role. I wanted him to be a serial killer in disguise! That would be a much more interesting role. Revenge isn't half bad. I doubt that they will allow Jim to kill the murder, since they will get the"兇手終被繩之於法". So he will not go to jail but probably go back to Canada to mend his broken heart instead. Then he won't get in the way for Pro sir and Mandy's "blossoming love". What a lame ending for Jim. :( TVB story lines are so predictable...
