It's designed like a racoon face because I've made racoons Tommy’s favourite animal in this AU (e.g he had a racoon plushie as a baby that Sam used as a reference to design Sam Nook)
Hey, your AweSamDude has a jaw that unhinges. So...in your SamDad AU, does that mean Tommy's jaw unhinges like that, too?
He can in theory, but not very well. He’s still smol and hasn’t practiced much. If he tries, it just makes his jaw hurt and he doesn’t like it. Like this:

Surprisingly, not as much as you think! I'll explain it in the story when I post it (eventually), but there's actually only a couple moments where Tommy is truly in danger of losing a canon life because of his creeper nature.
