So, the kid Selim had returned back to his usual self didn't he? And he actually believed he managed to seal up that darker-side of him for good and not only that, he thought Mrs. Bradley would keep him under wraps and raise him up as a 'good boy'. Unfortunately, this encounter prooved to Edward Elric that the darker side just can't be stop. He could have many more assumptions to how Selim turned back to the Other Pride but -- he chose that conclusion.
