Literally drove down #Crenshaw earlier today noting how a lot of these businesses aren’t gonna be here when this pandemic is over. Right before the day ends I find out the #CrenshawMall is shutting down. As crazy as that mall can get... I still patronized! But I’m not as upset cuz I’m not surprised. I’ve already gotten use to the #gentrification that’s been occurring. You had to know some changes were coming when the clear ppl moved in the neighborhoods in bunches AND had NO fear of jogging up and down Crenshaw early in the morning or when it’s pitch black at night and we driving the street just staring at the sight of crazy. Lol It makes sense to turn it into office space ESPECIALLY with Staples and the bank right around the parking lot!! That’s genius!! The surrounding neighborhood could really look bomb af if they do this right. Man... I already feel like a bunch of homeowners about to be iced out again. Those foreclosures in groves about to occur again...
