"Satanic" is the new video by Norwegian CREST OF DARKNESS

Norwegian band CREST OF DARKNESS has released a new video for the song "Satanic".

The video, directed and edited by the increasingly talented Caroline Kløvrud, previews the next steps of the Norwegian band. Following the release of their latest album, "My Ghost," which was well received throughout Europe, the band is preparing for a series of news in the coming months, starting with festival appearances such as the Mennecy Metal Fest near Paris in early September and a tour in November that will visit Italy and other European countries.

This is what Ingar Amlien says about "Satanic": "This song was a great example of teamwork between me, Rebo and Bernhard. A very aggressive first half, where the lyrics express in verse a pictorial and brutal portrayal of the power of darkness in a declining world, is followed by a more atmospheric second half with a great solo by Rebo and the chanting part inspired by the film "Rosemary's Baby". The song is about finding the God within oneself - discovering the dark power inside - and symbolically stepping "the infinite night".

Norwegian Extreme Metallers CREST OF DARKNESS unveil "The Ultimate Truth", a new song from the upcoming album "My Ghost". Here are Ingar's words about this new creature: "Structured as a ritual, "My Ghost" is a concept album, which, from an artistic standpoint, is meant to be heard as a whole. From the album's evocative opening, the ritual leads us to its climax, embodied by the final song "The Ultimate Truth". This is the point at which the listener completes the initiation into the dark world of Crest of Darkness, and is thus ready to enter the "Ninth Portal". With its varied and uncompromising lyrics underpinning its message, "My Ghost" is essentially a long journey into the darkest recesses of the mind. A place where Nature's darkest forces breathe energy and vitality into those who have the courage, and the strength, to become their own Gods".

"My Ghost" will be the title of CREST OF DARKNESS new album

"I have probably never released a more personal album than "My Ghost". This is how CREST OF DARKNESS founder Ingar Amlien defines "My Ghost", the new full-length album from the Norwegian Black Metal band, set for release on the next autumn on My Kingdom Music and anticipated in June by a single released in an exclusive 7" EP format. "My Ghost" is the result of two years worth of blood, sweat and tears, that began with Ingar working alone to mould his very personal thoughts and beliefs into musical ideas that the band can then develop together, each contributing their own ideas to the process, before entering the MLP Studios with Nils H. Maehlum at the helm. The result is an extremely personal journey that defines the very essence of CREST OF DARKNESS.

Here are Ingar's thoughts about the new music they will be releasing: "After what felt to us like an eternity of waiting, the time has finally come for us to be able to present you with new music. Since 1996 I have nurtured CREST OF DARKNESS in my heart, and in all that time I have probably never released a more personal album than "My Ghost", which will appear in the Autumn of 2024. Before that, however, you can get a taste of what to expect from "My Ghost", in the form of a single which will be released in June, even before details of the album itself are announced. I can, however, reveal that "My Ghost" is a concept album, one in which you are invited to join me on what I would call an "initiation journey" into the CREST OF DARKNESS Universe. An invitation into my own dark universe where there is only one ruler... one God... ME!!".

*Taking a wonder thorough the forest she couldn't find anyone around, "may she had scared them all off or something" she thought to herself as she continued on with Lalamon flying just a couple steps behind her. "If that is the case then it'll be so boring, ughh I hope I run across someone soon it's starting to get really boring, so I need something interesting to happen." She continued to think while she was continued on through the digital forest.

*Stopping as she got to a fork in the forest path way, she looked at both ways before turning to Lalamon and then poited in one of the two different directions.* Do you think that you could go check if there is any sign of any people or digimon in that direction, if there is then come back and tell me and we shall go that way but if not then we shall go the other way. And don't go too far.

Oh yeah sure I can *As the digimon spoke she then flew off in the direction in which her partner had told her to go.* There doesn't seem to be anyone this way. *She continued for a little longer.*

*After waiting for about 5 minuets for Lalamon to return, she then let out a large sigh.* ughhh she's probably gotten herself lost somewhere, or something like that anyway *Turning to face the pathway that Lalamon had gone down she then began to walk.* I guess I'm gonna have to go find her then.
