"question for Halim? If he's up for it? How are you enjoying the working at the Sanctuary? You're one of the older members of staff right?"
You're in luck! He should be taking a break here soon, we haven't had a lot of new intakes recently so he's been able to keep a more consistent schedule (maybe I can actually convince him to get to sleep on time...)

"Haaaaaalim!! Questions for you-! What-?! Are you still doing paperwork?!"
The Papython looked up from his computer screen, thin reader glasses perched on his nasal ridge and secured in place with bluetak. He arched his brow at the Sanctuary's owner, lifting a mug to take a long sip before answering.
"That Depends. Are You Still Avoiding The Tax Filing?"
Cell huffed, flushing indignantly before shoving the smartphone towards him.
"Shoosh, I'm still waiting on some W2s! Here, inbox question for you."
A moment of quiet staring, and the Papython finally accepted the phone to read the question, humming thoughtfully.
"To Answer The Simplest First, Yes, I Am One Of The Older Members Of Cell's Crew. Vex Knew Cell Would Likely Need Medical Assistance And Had Been Helping With Arrangements For Establishing Things As A Non-Profit. I Was... I Guess You Could Call It A 'Housewarming Gift', Though I Will Say I Was Less A Gift And More A Volunteer."
Halim paused, idly tapping his off hand claws on the desk top as he considered the other part of the ask.
"It's Hard To Say I Enjoy My Work. Not Because I Find It Hard Or Anything, But I Find The Word Enjoy Doesn't Really Embody What I Feel." The lamia leaned back in his task chair, reaching up to remove his readers and letting them dangle from a beaded chain around his neck.
"I Feel Accomplished When I Can Help Someone In Need, I Feel Fulfilled When I Put My Skills To The Test, I Feel Relieved When I Can Help Ease Pain And Suffering, I Feel Empowered When I Am Able To Learn. It Is A Difficult, Sometimes Emotionally Draining Job, There's No Way To Avoid That Fact. Even With The Help I Have Been Getting Recently From Van And Jasper, It's Not An Easy Position To Hold. But I Find It Worthwhile, And Every Patient I Get To See Healthy And Recovering Is Another SOUL Saved."
Halim nodded to himself, then moved to hand the phone back.
"I Wouldn't Change My Occupation For All The Riches In The World. I Hope That Answers Your Question."
