So who are we?
You're probably wondering "Who are these fantastic people that are going to offer me this amazing app?" and if you're not you should be. Well we're a collection of people with some experience in the marine industry and the IT industry.
We were thinking it seems really difficult to get crew to help out if you're new to an area or you need someone on short notice, which is when we came up with the idea for CrewFinder! The whole point is to connect crew with boats; imagine you've just sailed a short passage from Gib to Ibiza and now you need to return the boat to Cadiz. You don't know anyone on the island and the gal that helped you get there has already left for a new job. CrewFinder is your answer, pop a job on the app and everyone local who's looking for work gets a push alert to tell them you need help!
Steve Crompton, better known from his photo at last night's quiz, is a Yachtmaster living in Palma, Majorca. Steve has run several successful businesses including the premier creative recruitment company in the UK.
