is the only one that doesn't feel attracted to Blue (and is notably confused by everyone else)

quiet and intimidated at first, but quickly starts infodumping about xeir interests with those she's close to

hard working (sees failure as a death sentence and is terrified of making mistakes or losing everything)

tries to understand others, but tends to fail due to being afraid to ask what's wrong/ask for clarification (doesn't wanna be a bother)

Oh gosh, the new Among Us Show is making me make my own Crewmate Ocs and Imposter Ocs.... That and my own world building for their world. DARN IT!!! Im going to draw the cast later....

For anyone interested cuz I need to get these ideas out somewhere.

Some of it is taken by info we were given, as well as me getting ideas based on what others have talked about. ------------ Crewmates: They are fluffy plant like creatures, who populate by something close to mitosis. They don't need a partner to have children, they have a flower on their backs, that will become a pod, which will produce a child of a random color. So they can stay genderless. They are very overpopulated. Like, VERY much where they have too many planets they have taken over because of their population issue. Which becomes even a bigger issue when everyone looks the same because they are all technically are in a weird way.

Because of this, instead of names, they are given a code only they have, which links to their shade of color. Most of them just go with the basic color name. (Red, Blue, Green), but others do go to trying different shade names, and/or linking their name to their code name. (Like what Scampi did above.) They are a very smart species, even if they don't look like it, which is why they have overpopulated to the extremes. Other than that, they are weak in every other aspect. Other than that, their government is run by corporations, with MIRA being their biggest. To follow a different corporation, is like to be part of a different country in their eyes.

------------ Imposters: They are another alien species which are having a completely different issue. They are going extinct, thanks to the crewmate species. They lay eggs on asteroids, near ore deposits, and their eggs blended in, to hide them from predators. Though MIRA decided to cut corners, and just collect it all and use all of it as fuel. Imposters were not originally able to speak or think. They used to be more animalistic, and closer to parasites that just slowly feed on their victim without ever being detected. Never actually body snatching. That is, until MIRA, did what they did, causing them to change tactic to keep their eggs safe. After this, it was seen as war for Imposters, finally having thought and way to speak, they started making decisions on their own, and making their way into crewmates ships, killing any in site, without controlling them, for their own gain. For some reason, Im not sure why, Imposters will not harm children or pets. So im going to say they do that, because they are only targeting actual workers. Children and pets are not part of this "war" so they don't see them as targets. That and also maybe connects with how they dont want to go as low as the crewmates of killing kids. (IDK) Other than that, Imposters come in many different styles of fighting, this is mainly connected with how they hunt, where they used to hunt in large packs on their asteroids, before the "MIRA incident". The only downside of doing this, is that the imposters lose sense of self when hiding themselves. They gain their victims memories, and in the process, think of themselves as that crewmate. While some keep that sense of wanting to kill and have fun. Others will lose want to kill and try just, blending in. Being the person they are now.

Patchwork is usually the last one alive in the crew that they are assigned, so rumors like to spread about him possibly sabotaging or killing his own crew; because of this hostility, he tends to stick to himself and is short tempered to others.

The missing arm and the split helmet was the result of a hungry Jester that he was teleported from before it could completely crush him in its jaws.

As for his other leg, he lost that to the Affliction (dont worry, hes no longer infected). He managed to obtain a nutcracker leg as a partial prosthetic and modified it to his own taste.

💗 GROWING HEART - if they have a crush, is it noticeable? what changes when they're in love?

Tangy. It's Tangy. They are partners for a reason! (Heck they adopted a kid together!)

Epsilon in love is... A very curious thing indeed. It's like that deep-seethed desire to be wanted is not as pressing anymore. Like for once his appetite is actually sated...

For what it's worth, the parasite also seems to like Tangy.

💧 DROPLET - random angst headcanon

He gets phantom pains sometimes. That's to be expected after a traumatic amputation. What he doesn't understand is why the feeling of his missing limb contorting itself into something else seems so vividly real...

Or why he gets so many nightmares about losing his first crew where he sees himself doing terrible things to them. He would never kill anyone! Would he...?

☁️ CLOUD - a soft headcanon

He adopted Golf to help overcome the trauma of losing his arm and crew. It's kind of funny seeing this very big man walking around with a pony sized alien dog under his arm like the big beast weighs nothing!

🔥 FIRE - do they have any self destructive tendencies? what habits do they have that hinder them from becoming their best self?

Epsilon Is over-critical of himself and tends to care too much about what others think of him, which leads him to run himself ragged trying to be a people-pleaser.

The thing is, Epsilon desperately wants to be liked.

And while there's nothing wrong with this per say, his desire for companionship and attention from friends tends to be a little on the excessive side. He's constantly craving it. And when he doesn't get it he tends to stress-eat to cope.

There's a reason why people can so easily take advantage of him, and it's this right here. He wants so badly to come off as friendly, reliable and likeable that he basically gives into the whims of others just chasing after a very brief feeling of empty fulfillness.

🖍️ CRAYON - what advice would you give to them?

Stop trying to make the entire world your friend. That's not an achievable or healthy goal. Not everyone will like you.

Stick to those who've proven themselves worthy of your loyalty and kindness. Also maybe seek medical attention.

🎭 MASKS - do they act differently around certain people? what's different between the way they act around friends, family, strangers, etc.?

Yes but it's not really intentional on his part...

Epsilon is overall a pretty decent guy in terms of socializing. He's polite, soft-spoken, respectful of other's wants and feelings, and he genuinely gets invested in making friends with them. He tends to come off as a bit gullible tho, and sometimes people take advantage of that, or write him off as a big weirdo/bother.

Unfortunately, due to his condition, the way people treat Epsilon tends to affect how the parasite treats them in return...

Anyone who's proven to be of some use to his well-being like Tangy (who Epsilon is very attached to), or even just people who provide him with basic decency, get a free pass because they provide endorphins which the parasite also benefits from.

But anyone who's confrontational, rude or downright condescending towards him tend to be targeted as a potential meal, since they're causing him needless stress that harms both him and the parasite.

Which means Epsilon's behavior goes from the polite idle chatter, occasional silly joke, and offerings of snacks, to a very eerie silent indifference that feels incredibly out of character for him. Epsilon is not in the habit of being quiet... And while it's easy to write it off as him just giving up on trying to be nice to a jerk, in reality that's an indicator that he's not the one currently steering the car, so to speak...

🌌 MILKY WAY - what was the inspiration behind your oc? what was the first thing you decided about them?

The main inspirations were John Carpenter's The Thing, Carrion game, and overall just my love of body horror, body-snatching horrors and unwilling/unaware transformations.

I wanted Epsilon to be horrific in concept (he's a big beefy dude that got taken over by a parasite with an insatiable appetite for flesh), but at the same time I wanted him to subvert the trope and actually be a pretty decent and upstanding friend.

He really means well and wants to look out for the team. He just can't help what his condition makes him do!
