Crusade exited the east hall into the cafeteria and yawned. One thing virtually everyone agreed upon was a dislike for the Down/Upload Task. It took forever and was tedious and they were more than happy it was done with for the day.
They paused spotting the orange Crew, Teilson, on the opposite end of the cafe, leaning against the sill and looking out the window.
Tapping off their music for a moment they joined him, “Whassup, Teilson?”
“Oh hey, Crusade!” He replied with his usual friendly smile, then it brightened a touch more as he looked at them eagerly, pointing out the viewport, “Look!”
Crusade looked out the window and briefly started at a brilliant flash of light. They looked after it a moment before another flash whipped past. Then another. Then another.
Crusade looked out the port at the phenomena with curiosity. They’d never seen asteroids behave that way before.
“It looks like rain.” Teilson replied contentedly with a gentle sigh, “heh. Rain in space.”
Crusade quirked a brow, “Rain?”
Teilson continued to watch the sight, “mhm. I mean look at it. Like a spring shower- only glowy.”
Crusade simply stared at him flatly for a moment more before looking back out and watching the flicks of stellar matter rush endlessly into space. They huffed amusedly, just softly enough not to be heard as they tapped their headphones- perfect time for this playlist.
Saw a challenge on Twitter and said. Yep. Gonna try my hand. Gives me opportunity to try my hand at more backgrounds. Which honestly speaking was fun to do. I might make that more the focus- when I get chances.
Also gives me a chance at little instances between my characters
Working on an old house this week so won’t be able to really go at it. But I’ll be happy for what I can try!
