One of my newest characters, Crikcet Calloway A talented medical doctor seeking to improve his medical prowess and abilities by pursuing the study of healing magic. He started his career serving during his mandatory draft period in his country's military as a surgeon stationed at a military base. After his term, he caught word of a floating city that welcomed promising scientists and researchers, offering them rare resources and knowledge to aid them in their pursuits. In exchange, those who board the city must offer what they've learned to the extensive library for others to use. Cricket has much to learn, and practicing magic is turning out to be more difficult than he had anticipated. He's not easily deterred, and is willing to give as much time as it takes to be able to help people. He isn't too terribly fond of his first name and introduces himself as Calloway. Only his mother, boyfriend, and a select close friends are allowed to call him Cricket. He has a gentle and polite demeanor, but has a sharp wit and quick sense of humor. Soft, but clearly spoken, he gives off a trustworthy and welcoming air. He has a strong sense of pride and duty to his country, but, like most of the general population, is oblivious to the evils committed by his country in the past to get to their current technological standing.
