Cricket stormed up the stairs and down the hallway of her best friend’s apartment building. Even though she was tripping over her feet every two seconds, her confidence was through the roof. To put it bluntly, Cricket was drunk. She had been at a party with her other best friend, Angie, and her new boyfriend, Ruben, when she confided in them about her feelings. Angie, also being drunk, advised Cricket to confront her feelings and just go for it, crediting her new relationship as proof that it was a good idea. Cricket’s drunk mind believed Angie to be a genius and immediately left to go to KC’s apartment. After what felt like years, she finally reached his door and started banging on it with her fist. Keanu learned who his regulars were at work right away. Of course they got their occasional tourist stumbling in but for the most part Keanu knew who was coming into the shop. Keanu had his back turned to the door as he stocked inventory when Cricket entered. He turned around after hearing the door chime and quickly smiled. "Hey, dude," he greeted her warmly as he leaned against the counter.

"Whatcha coming in for?" He asked. "We ordered too many of the passion fruit guava ice puff bars so we're doing a BOGO deal on that flavor," he said. "It's a pretty sick deal that beats what I get as an employee discount," he explained. He'd already put a couple aside for himself to buy after his shift. The flavor wasn't his favorite but he was cheap so he'd settle.

Elliot really began living the life of luxury when he moved to Aurora Bay. He found himself living amongst the upper echelon of society living on Aurora Bay Drive and it really was a trip and one that he thoroughly enjoyed.

Tonight he was being cooked for right in his own kitchen and he hadn't even known that was a service that was possible until one of his neighbors tipped him off. Just because he didn't have his ex to cook his meals anymore didn't mean he was forced to a life of take out and frozen dinners and it was just an added bonus that he didn't have to learn to cook either.

Elliot didn't usually bother Cricket when she was in the kitchen but tonight he'd found himself hovering around the island watching as she prepared whatever delicious dish she decided tonight. Elliot wasn't picky and he was trying to expand his palette. "Do you like those pans?" Elliot asked referring to the top of the line stainless steel cookware set he had. "My realtor gave them to me in a housewarming present when I signed on this place but they're definitely not nonstick. I had to throw out the small one because I tried to fry an egg on it and it got cemented on there."
