The only way I would know how to keep you alive if you lived with me would be to literally just feed you pasta all day.

Oh sister, I’m so sad for you. =( You should never have to give up something you love. Maybe you could discuss this with your Japanese teacher and see if you can arrange something after school? Maybe they’d be willing to compromise for you. <3

I just called my counselor, and she said that there is no online class for me to take and if I wanted to take Japanese class, I would have to take it  at the local university. If I wanted to take it here, I would have to choose between the two.

Is there a japanese club, or can you talk to the teacher about possibly tutoring you since you cant take the class? Also you might be able to talk to the school about possible extra credits. Like a zero period class or something.

In sophomore year, I wasn't allowed to double up on Japanese due to the same scheduling conflicts. My friend said that she was getting all the papers from the japanese class and taking all of the tests so that she could skip that class and move onto the next one the following year. I asked my teacher if I could do that and she said no. As for Japanese club, it is just a club for otakus and fans of anime. (which isn't bad. hell, I like anime. But that club wasn't my cup of tea) and it only meets once a month. it teaches no japanese, just japanese culture. (aka food and anime)
