❛ WELL, I’d be lying if I said no — ah. ❜ He couldn’t even say anything when she took the mug away from him. He momentarily eyed the mug in DISAPPOINTMENT at the fact that he wouldn’t be able to have another cup but he supposed this was for the better. He couldn’t help but fidget a bit ( perhaps out of mild anxiety ) now that she was properly CONFRONTING him about this. He knew all too well that what he was doing wasn’t healthy but he didn’t exactly have the mind of STEEL when it came his night terrors.
So when she offered this proposition, he was certainly caught by SURPRISE. ❛ ... Eh ? But that’s — ❜ He was about to bring up the possibility of how he would be too NERVOUS to sleep ( it wasn’t often that he slept next to a woman after all ) but he stopped himself. It was an idea he was RELUCTANT towards as he never had anyone by his side as he slept but it wasn’t one he was against either. It was EXHAUSTING having to live like this but he simply did nothing out of ACCEPTANCE that nothing could be done. It was always DIFFICULT for him to reach out to others unless necessary but nowadays, he was just so tired. There was only so much he could take on his own.
He sighed in DEFEAT and offered her a wry smile. ❛ ... Okay. I’ll try. I’m sorry that you have to do this but ... thank you, really. I’m sorry that I always WORRY you so much. I hope this helps you too. ❜
