Sudan Opens Darfur Crimes Probe Against Bashir Regime Figures
Sudan’s state prosecutor has said on Sunday, the government has opened an investigation into crimes, committed in the Darfur region, by members of the regime of ousted former president Omar Al-Bashir.
The United Nations says at least three hundred thousand persons died, in the conflict between pro-government forces and ethnic minority rebels. Another two and a half million persons were displaced.
