"Why are most demons in this realm so...edgy???"
“Don’t know what the shit yer talkin’ bout; but I ain’t no edgy bitch. I’m just fuckin fabulous, baby!”
The demon hangs by a few blood tendrils over the doctor. "So uh, they're letting you operate on animals again?"
“Not quite. I just like to ‘rebagel’ pictures of birds I find on this ‘Hellsite’.”
“Ah, Haruko. What’s an outstandin’ demon like yourself doin’ in a shitty lil’ place like this?” Faye inquired as she strolled up to her friend. A smile spread across her features, sharp teeth glinting in the light.

Loud foot steps made the temple shake yet all servants carried on with their duties. “Ready or not here I come!” She rushed through the halls, the massive temple having many hiding places but she wasn’t going to loose at a game in her own temple.

Bender’s gaze LOCKED onto Hakuro...pupils expanding to their limits, he should know what was about to come...it was going to be a bad case of the zoomies.

Pain was the first inkling of sensation that returned to Sanguis as they awoke. All down their back and shoulders, hurt wrought like taught wire. They gasped. Their elbow slid back and the angel pushed themself up, groaning as the pain wound and constricted all over. They panted, letting their muscles fall lax.
Grass. Maybe. Something akin to it, at least, swayed at all sides. Sanguis watched a shadow come over the vegetation. Their gaze rose and the angel made a strangled noise of terror. Great Bleeding Sacrament--how big was the animal standing over them?
Second came the greater horror, as Sanguis squinted past the light from above. Their mask had fallen off. That elicited a louder noise, and they padded their hands through the blades of grass, looking for the familiar sheen of their white mask. They sighed when their fingers made the porcelain-like surface. Sanguis put the mask to their face and fastened it tight, adjusting their head covering. They looked up to the monster again. The trunk of a massive leg swung their way and in the instant their wings flashed behind them, hoisting them out of harm and flinging them aside into the grass.
Great. Amazing. Already meeting peril, and nothing permitted a clue as to where they were.
