The morning after the night before.
"A broken or lost friendship can never ever return to its former shape." Ororo thought, leaning on the windowsill in her bedroom. The gardens were just visible from where she was and she made a mental note to check on her plants. "A lost friendship has lost the faith and trust." She leant forward a little further, pressing her forehead against the cool window. "The relation between two friends is just like a glass." She pondered, "If it is once broken it cannot be joined again properly. Even if it is joined, through time consuming methods... the crack is always there." Another pause, "Neena threw a brick through our friendship. Daken took a bat to it. It was Vandalism, plain and simple." Ororo was still reeling from the words she'd heard from her own friend's mouth...she had compared their friendship to servitude. To enslavement.
She pushed away from her thoughts and the window in once smooth movement, she needed the peace of her gardens. She'd devote her mind to the task of making Azazel feel at home and avoid thinking of Neena or Daken for the rest of the day. Ororo Monroe wasn't one to run from her problems, but everyone needed to clear their heads once in a while. It's how you maintained a clear-thinking perspective.
There was one clear thought in her mind, however.
"Friends are easier to lose to death."
