aaaah im glad im not the only one! like i’m really sorry that happens, it sucks so much, but my older sister was making fun of me for it the other day bc i kept gagging and she was mocking me about it and i was like nO i am really gonna vomit and idk i felt like maybe i was just weird...

Over the weekend me and my cousin were talking...

I feel like people who didn’t like hope never finished the game or ignored his development. HE WAS A CHILD.

Yesssss. A child who had just lost a parent. Going through the stages of grief. Anger is one of them. 

As someone who lost their dad at a young age, who has a brother that blamed himself for years and didn’t tell anyone till recently because he started school the year dad died and he wasn’t home and he could’ve helped if he had just been home (regardless of the fact that there was nothing to be done, because it was of factors out of everyones control)....

Hope fixating on Snow and using that to drive himself forward isn’t a long shot at all. Of course he’s going to act rashly and do silly things. He’s fourteen, and acting like an actual 14 year old, a child who needs to become and adult quick and has issues at home...

Like sure they could’ve had him just brush is off and rub some dirt in it....but we already have tons of characters that just push the death down and just have it brooding behind everything that its nice to have a character not doing that and reacted rashly and harshly and demand why

If he doesn’t fixate on the anger. Then he has nothing, and will shut down. Forget everything else happening in that game that just adds to the need to hold onto the anger or be consumed by anquish....

But the thing is, he overcomes that anger. He does develop past it. He didn’t have to. He could have stagnated and stayed in the anger, and people do do that. But he didn’t and he did grow and UGH

He is a valuable and important character and the group would’ve been worse off without him, Lightning and Snow especially.
