I played blasphemous 1 while I was gone, it was PEAK. Have some crisanta doodles cuz I love her

Idk if anyone else has said this before or if this was meant to be obvious and I’m just late to the party, but I realized recently that when Crisanta addresses Penitent One as “Penitent One in sleeplessness”, that’s probably her alluding to the fact that he can’t die.

And the thing is, it makes sense that she’s she only character who addresses him as that, because she’s the only character who absolutely, canonically, is aware of the Miracle reviving him. Like even if you go the whole game deathless, Penitenté has already CANONICALLY been killed AT LEAST ONCE, and that was by Crisanta, in the prequel comic The Kneeling.

Anyway I just thought that was a cool lil detail but I’m prob just late to the game of noticing it lol
