ok so I wanna make a fun post after that depressingish post

one of my favorite things about working at McDonald’s is that they have crispy chicken for the wraps, salads, and one of the sandwiches.  Well at the bottom of the bag, sometimes there’s these like small chunks of chicken that might’ve broken off in the bag or something, Either way, whenever they’re there and there’s some open room in the frying basket, I always toss them in there too. 

I call them “crispy bits” and they are the BEST thing ever.  Like seriously it’s like twice as good as a mcnugget.  I’ll take a few of them and nom them in the back, and they are just AMAZING.  Seriously, getting to have crispy bits makes my day.

Simple Kitchen Tip: To Cut or Not To Cut?

If you want to add crispy bacon or prosciutto to a dish, don't cut it up before you cook it. Fry it whole, then cut it up. Otherwise it usually clumps together and gets nowhere near as crispy as you wanted it.
