This crispy lemon herb chicken recipe is bursting with flavor and perfect for a quick and delicious weeknight dinner. The combination of lemon zest, fresh herbs, and parmesan cheese creates a delightful coating that turns ordinary chicken breasts into a flavorful delight. Searing the chicken before baking ensures a crispy exterior while keeping the meat tender and juicy inside.
Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese. 1 lemon, zest and juice. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped. 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 tablespoons olive oil.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 190C 375F. Put breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, lemon zest, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix them together. Brush the chicken breasts with lemon juice and then cover them with the breadcrumb mix. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook chicken breasts in a pan for two to three minutes on each side, or until they turn golden brown. Put the chicken in a baking dish and bake it in a hot oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until it's fully cooked. Warm it up and serve it with your favorite sides.
