The whole time she was there, she watched her other self and the other world's Henry mourn him. She felt the pain of losing a version of Neal she had never actually known and it made her face feelings about the one back in her world. When she makes it back, the first thing she could think to do was kiss him.

Swanfire Headcanon #545734 - The idea of kids had come up with them once. Curled up together in a crappy motel that hadn't turned the heat on, they talked about all the futures they could have had if life hadn't knocked them on their asses. Emma said she loved to sing, even if she was tone deaf. Neal made a joke about how he'd have to sing to their kids instead and they realized that a family was part of the home they wanted. Looking back, Emma was pretty sure that was the night they made Henry.

"I came to speak with you about what happened... the other night." Mako frowned and stepped into the office, closing it's heavy wooden door behind him with a soft 'click'.

"What about it? Did you do it? Or did you come here to tell me you pussed out on it?"

"I hope you know that I don't respond well to failure." Her blue eyes shift to look up at him through her hood. They were icy and intimidating as usual.
