Headcanon A: realistic
She probably got thrown into prison for stealing shit, like let’s be honest. Being a goblin, it’s a miracle that she didn’t get executed instead of just being imprisoned, so I like to think she did some cool, clever shit to keep herself from just getting ghosted. Like maybe she bribed the law master or struck some other kind of bargain with them.
Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious
Nott being that person in the party who’s always like “have you eaten? where are you going? did you bring a sweater? don’t sass me, what if you get cold?!” Just imagine like fuckin Fjord, this giant green man with a scary sword, getting yelled at by this tiny goblin for not eating his vegetables.
Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends
I saw a headcanon that Nott actually had a child before landing in jail, and her clan killed them, which is why she’s so determined to help Caleb get stronger, because her child was a runt who couldn’t protect themself and was culled because of it.
Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.
There’s so little canon to reject right now, lmao, and I love everything that’s canon about Nott.
