She paused, the sound of his voice was protesting, but the hands on her hips made her want to continue. She opted for neither ending it or pushing forward, nails lazily dragging along his skin, just barely scratching at the surface as they roamed down his shoulders and arms.

“Yes, Terra?” She asked barely suppressing the grin that she wanted to display. “Is something wrong?” Her head tilted as nails scratched harder, enough to leave light welts on his upper arms.

“Huh...?” Green eyes widened as she stared at the back of the man. The flower fell from her hands and she was held frozen in place. “Zack...?” The name fell from her lips barely audible.

Immediately the brunette rushed towards the man, quick to grab a hold of his arm. “Za-” She came in front of him, and stared at the stranger with wide eyes. She took a step back before pulling her hand away from him. “S-sorry, I thought you were someone else.” The woman apologized quickly.

She should have known otherwise, but she was still hopeful that she might have been wrong.

If it turns out to be true, I will never trust Nomura with writing Ventus and Vanitas again.
