whenever i make anything character-focused i like to have themed music, when it's group focus much the same but sort of harder to find fitting music for the entire group. i present to thee my music picks for focus works on yj98:

all of em / as a group : almost exclusively Macarena - Bayside Boys Remix by Los Del Rio on loop. do the macarena to the beat in your seat if u need that extra Pizazz and Sauce in the creative stuff youre doin

tim drake | robin : 80s-2000s stuff, mostly grunge-y sorta tracks with the occasional Enya or occasional less grungy more brainwiggly. artist/band recs for his taste: The Clash, Depeche Mode, Green Day, Billy Idol, They Might Be Giants, Oasis, Foo Fighters, blink-182, Enya, and The Cure. for tracks on repeat : Rock The Casbah by The Clash, Boys Don't Cry by The Cure are usually my go-to's (but that's because those songs are 2 of my favorite songs lol). for some more modernish stuff, tv girl (specifically Birds Don't Sing and My Girlfriend), tally hall, malcolm todd, peach pit, will wood (specifically hand me my shovel, im going in!), lemon demon (specifically touch tone telephone) and for tracks; notion by the rare occasions, misery by maroon 5

kon-el | conner kent | superboy : also mostly 80s-2000s. recs for him (mostly just their popular songs tbh) : garbage, david bowie, queen, guns n roses, my chemical romance (go white boy go discover emo music), wheatus, artic monkeys, the killers, pixies, iggy pop. and hip-hop or rap music!! no specific artists but specifically the song hoe cakes by mf doom,, other than that i dont rlly have consistent on repeat tracks for him cause i mix it up a lot, once listened to chappell roan exclusively while drawing him. it is truly a rollercoaster with kon but its a fun one each time

bart allen | impulse : speaking of rollercoasters, we have my guy imp!! for him i basically chuck in whatever i think has the vibe i want, smth that matches timeperiod wise, smth i think he'd think was crash, and blend it into a new playlist everytime. he is truly the unpredictable king. for stuff i throw in the most on average : tally hall or lemon demon, kero kero bonito, various vocaloids and utauloids, assorted traditional music in other languages , splatoon ost , reeses puffs advert . bart is unbound by 80s-2000s time constraints like the others and he takes advantage of that to somehow have nyan cat on his walkman . and yes he sings along to the intense voice of hatsune miku . youre welcome for this enlightenment . he also listens to normal 80s-2000s music but its a blender of tim & kon's music taste and whats popular at the time.

soon to b updayed with secret, cassie, cissie, etc, but i need to read more of their comics before i get the Enlightening of musics. for guesses i say cassie = chappell roan listener cissie = gigi perez listener and secret likes kate bush

also will occasionally get amended whenever i wake up at 2:57am and realized i forgot the song i used to draw my latest masterpiece

voice claims! idk but i just have a Feeling that Bart sounds kinda like Danny Gonzales im ngl. also i feel like Kon would sound like Kenji Sun (vtuber) because yeah. not too sure about tim or cassie voice claims but i will get those eventually. random and also not yj98 related but Wally West gives me vibes that he'd sound like Jay from the Kubz Scouts
