Death rodent

Lore/behavior/general what is it:

The [this thing] is a little cotton-candy-colored predator that impersonates prey. they feed on the predators that would normally eat its prey counterpart (,which i’ll try to find/remember as well).

a lot of their prey is snake-like creatures (normal animals wouldn’t be around in this universe), which they use primarily for their venom. they sink their fangs into their venom sacks and extract it. then it’ll move to the barb on their tails, which paralyzes/poisons their prey to more easily catch them and extract more venom, since the predators they feed off of are quite large compared to them.

They’ll usually have hunting sprees and drag all their catches back to a cave, or wherever their cluster lives, and make a big pile of their catches. Sometimes extra things end up in this pile, which can be assumed as just a thing one of them like.

Summary: adorably deceptive death

-food (preferably meat)

-trinkets

-large animal (make sure your animal either is stinger-proof or that you don’t care for them)

Shelter rules:

-They need some kinda food to convince them to go with you. they are very food-motivated and not-much-else-motivated.
