a big reason i’ve always loved the fly is how clear it is that she still loves him no matter what like yes at the end she does become slightly afraid of him but that’s cuz she literally watched him melt off a guys hand, before that his body never scared her she embraced him willingly.. she was only ever scared for his health, the fact he was dying, not who he had become
