jelly fish pattern
sc-single crochet slst-slip stitch dec-decrease inc-increase dc-double crochet ht-half treble this is worked in the round but is fairly simple the bottom is worked in front/back loups only im left handed so I work in front loups only so half of the stitch it left as a raised bump on the outside of the jelly fish if you right handed then you would work in back loups instead the raised bumps are needed for the scallopted edge and make attaching tentaceles easyer
round 1 - 6 sc in a magic ring
round 2- inc in every stitch
roubd 3 - 1 sc , 1 inc around
round 4- 2 sc , 1 inc around untill its the width you want then work the rows without increases untill its alsmost as long as you want, aim for a sort of bell shaped
part 5- slip stich to start a fresh row ( I worked in non ending rounds up untill now you can slst after each round if you prefer) work in one loup of each stitch like mentiond above lefies go front loup righties go back loup and work one even round (the rest of the pattern will be worked like this)
part 6- now we start decreasing 2 sc,1 dec around add small amound of stuffing now
part 7 - 1 sc ,1 dec around
part 8 - dec around and close but dont cut yarn
part 9 the tentacles chain as many as you want and sc down to make spiral once at the base slst it to the base of the jelly then reapeat what you did before workiny around the base and filling it out as you like
part 10 - tentacles part two change color (i normaly just slip stitch the new color to the base in what ever way is easyest) chain and slst in each chain untill you get to the base and slst to the base these are the straighter danglyer ones fill in as much as you like then cut yarn
part 11 ruffles - there should be 2 line of bumps before you get into the part with the tentacles attach yarn to the one clossest to the tentacls I normaly slip stitch it on work between 3 and 5 dc in the loup and slst it to the next you can space these out in what ever way is prettiest to you once you work around slst to begging and tie of your yarn
part 12 ruffles part to - working in the top set of loups attach your yarn (it might not line up exactly bc of shifting but the ruffles will hide it) work 3 to 5 half treble stitches into the bump skip 2 or so bumps slst then do more ht working around as before and fineshing like you did before
