Ive been considering writing spicy CrossCode Emilea fics as well and my number 1 question I feel like I must answer before I write any is: can Evotars do wireplay?
I feel like there are a few ways they could. Obviously #1 is just, put an Lea in an android body instead of a CrossWorlds avatar, but that feels like kinda a cheap solution.
Option #2 is that avatars have functional circuitry made out of Instant Matter inside of them, and this isn't even too improbable! I already want to do more writing exploring the exact mechanics of how an avatar works tbh because they MUST be more complicated than a simple 'solid hologram'. (After all, they can gather perfect tactile, visual, and auditory data and transmit it to the player / Evotar servers.) On the other hand, the mechanics by which they operate may look entirely different from traditional computational hardware so I'm not sure.
The final option I can think of is wireplay with Lea's server. This could be interesting but it feels the most contrived; it's pretty well established that Evotars have very little access to the server they're hosted on, so it would be strange for them to get any sensory data from it at all. It would also require Lea be moved back out of the main Evotar server or else every evotar would be getting the sensory data.
If it was the other way around, and Emilie confessed to an oblivious Lea, how would she do it???
I can't believe I completely forgot to respond to this I'm so sorry!
I think she'd definitely like to confess at the Peridot Approach landmark in Gaia's Garden, but being who she is I feel like it's also likely that she'd just end up blurting out a confession without thinking.
I might actually consider writing an Emilie confession as either a oneshot or part of a seperate fic!
