((Speaking of pockets for women to hide knives in, did you know that back in the days of period clothing, women did have pockets underneath their dresses? They were on a band of cloth wrapped around their waists, and their skirts [not the underskirt of course] had slits so they could get access to their pockets :D Just wanted to share this random bit of information with you <3 ))
