I know I am a little late in the month for this but I wanted to do a drawing for LGBT Pride month and for this year, I did a modern AU drawing of Stanley and Lefou from Beauty and The Beast (2017). For this, I did make them husbands. Some of the details are a bit hard to see. Happy Pride 2017!
And Lefou did just that 😊
After watching EXO's music video for "Monster" over and over again for the past couple of days and because of Baekhyun, I wanted to do a modern version of Stanley (BaTB 2017) with piercings.
Besides Lefou, my other favorite character from the new Beauty and The Beast is Stanley. To me, Stanley is more than a minor character (and looks fabulous in a dress). The confidence Stanley has when he was wearing the dress made my heart happy. To him, being dressed up like that was not an embarrassment for him after the wardrobe attacked them. In fact, he was like, "I look amazing and I am going to show you all how fíerce I am! I am free!" And he did. Strutting his fabulousness and worked it, embracing it and loving every second of it, even if it was only a few seconds. Basically, it's more than just a scene in the movie for me. See, I have self esteem issues and going through a heavy depression spell for a a couple/few months and not a lot of things have been helping recently but when I saw that one scene, I do not know how to exactly describe it but it helped me a bit. Personally, I do not wear dresses or makeup much but Stanley showed me that you don't have to be afraid to be yourself and be confident. And that is why he is my spirit animal and I love him so much. As well as drawing him in dresses, of course.
I love drawing Stanley and I also love drawing him in drag/crossdressing. This drawing was inspired by “Strut” by Adam Lambert.
Yes…I screwed up his right arm as I was inking but it is not as bad as I thought it would be.<\p>
Drew Stanley in a more sexy modern type outfit with a feather boa (or tried to draw one). I tried to draw Lefou in this kind of outfit as well with a boa but I messed up.
Just a random Stanley/Stanfou crossdress doodle/drawing I did late last night. I screwed up the wig but I will keep practicing on that.
