The worst part of living so close to the beach was having to deal with fishers. More often than not, Kaia had to rescue sea creatures and animals from nets and other things thrown haphazardly across the beach and ocean. Including this very moment where she had stumbled across a dolphin entangled in a net. The easy part was removing the net. So far, so good. Though, she was still cutting her way through the net as she tried to untangle it. The hard part would be getting the dolphin back into the ocean. She wasn’t as strong as the other merfolk. Didn’t have the strength on land as she had in the water. Yet, here she was. Little by little and inch by inch. Trying to push this baby right back where it belonged after she had gotten it free from the net.

                  Oh the night sky was so pretty, she always loved the night and what fun they could bring, currently listening to the symphony of noise that was near the pond she lazily dipped her front hooves into the water watching the moons reflection until she heard the approach of other hooves and perked up from where she was.

“Yes, of course,” The answer was immediate, said without the slightest hesitation. Shimmering orchid orbs gazed up at her other Aunt, then back at the scene outside her window. If she were a different mare, Cadance would say her life had been a string of one disaster after another. Had she still been a teenager, lost and shivering beneath the weight of princesshood, she’d believer self to be some kind of bad omen or curse on those she loved. But Cadance was not that mare, nor did she have time to wallow in self pity, she had only two things to do now; Trust in Aunt Luna, and ensure the safety of her subjects.

     seeing that the princess was sleeping, rainbow didn’t know if she should even disturb the alicorn, she knew that the mare worked hard during the night and deserved a good rest--but she had good news.
